Tradewind Collar Necklace

The Tradewind Collar is the most architecturally ambitious piece in the current range — a rigid torque in 18-karat rose gold with five bezel-set sapphires in a grade selected for their pale, sea-glass-adjacent colour rather than the deep royal blue of traditional sapphire work.

The collar sits at the base of the neck on a slight forward tilt, the weight distributed so it neither slides nor grips. Worn over a plain neckline it needs nothing else; worn beneath a collar it disappears almost entirely, which is another kind of pleasure.

Fabricated entirely by hand — there is no cast component in this piece. Each collar takes approximately eighteen hours of bench time. We make no more than eight per year.
